Update #21: PayPal, Steam Greenlight, Flex Goals & Evil Laugh Winner

Hey folks,

Our update today will focus on PayPal, Flex Goals, Steam Greenlight, and our evil laugh contest winner.

PayPal is Live

We’re pleased to announce that you can now back War for the Overworld using PayPal. We’re currently limiting the rewards slightly and will have higher-tiers available in the near future. Head over to our website to pledge now! Stumpy will correctly show how much we’ve raised toward our Flex Goals as we head into these final few days — so keep an eye on him instead of the Kickstarter number.

Flex Goals

We’ve received a lot of feedback and a bit of concern regarding Flex Goals. First of all — we will continue to accept new backers after our Kickstarter campaign ends (via PayPal), these backers will directly contribute to the development of Flex Goals. We currently plan to continue development as long as we have the funds to do so. That said — we’re trying to get as much of an initial push as possible and hope that you’ll help us reach toward our Flex Goal milestones!

We also wanted to point out that certain Flex Goals will take less development time than others, which means we may have more development time to produce additional content! This is something we’ll discuss in great length when we near the end of the Bedrock Beta.

Steam Greenlight

Evil Laugh Contest Winner

The evil laugh contest proved to be a neck and neck race between Edison and Hello Kinky, but the final few votes tipped the balance in Edison’s favour. His fame is ensured throughout the annals of history, and we fully expect that his life will be sweet and easy from now until his (un)death. Perhaps he’ll favour us with a picture of him wearing his free WFTO T-shirt once he receives it! Thanks again for your wonderful submissions and participation in the voting process.
