WFTO Development Diary #10:

Kickstarter’s Eve

Hey folks,

Tonight may very well be the last night before our little community becomes a bustling hive of activity. Before I go any further I want to thank each and every one of you for how dedicated you have been over the past weeks, months, and years. Tomorrow everything changes; tomorrow this will become real.

But we need your help to make this campaign go as well as it possibly can. The main thing that you guys can do to help us is spreading the word about the project once the page goes live, but we also want to be providing a warm welcome to all of the new members we are going to be getting over the next few weeks, so be on the lookout for anyone that needs a helping hand or a question answered!

I’d also like to announce that we’ve started an official subreddit and IRC channel:

  • The subreddit can be found at http://reddit.com/r/wfto
  • The IRC channel is hosted on Quakenet
    • It can be accessed via the web chat here
    • If you wish to use your own IRC client: irc.quakenet.org #wftogame

We’re going to be heavily active on these – specifically the IRC – over the course of Kickstarter, and we’d love to have as many of you there as possible.

Thanks again for your patience. None of us can wait much longer to show you everything we’ve got in store – the team has been working their socks off to produce some absolutely amazing stuff for this campaign.

Now, I’m going to get a few hours sleep before the big day…
